The JJBC Travelling Sword is a symbol of unity and hospitality for the JJBC Society and its members. Its purpose is to encourage members to visit other JJBC dojos.
Rules of the Sword
The club that has possession of the sword will, if possible, display it at their club and have it available during regular training sessions.
The club will remain in possession of the sword until one of the following occurs.
- A member of another JJBC club shows up and trains during a regularly scheduled training session. They will then take possession of the sword for their club.
- If there is more than one visiting member training at the same time, the member with the highest belt rank will take possession of the sword.
- If a member of JJBC is asked the location of the sword and they have that knowledge they must divulge the location.
- The logbook will be kept with the sword at all times and will be kept up to date.
- Only clubs in good standing with JJBC can have possession of the sword.
